A set of LaCo1-xCu2O3 type-mixed oxides (x = 0-0.4) was prepared by conventional citrated- method. The synthesized solids were characterized by XRD, SEM, BET. Their reduction oxidation properties of such materials were investigated by caring out under the reduction in H2/Ar and the chemisorption of H2. It was found that the presence of copper ions in perovskite lattice makes cobalt ions be reduced at a lower temperature. The reduced phase contains highly dispersed Co, Cu sites on La2O3 matrix.
