 Genes coding CagA and VacA proteins of He/icobacter pylori (H pylori) had been shown an important role in pathogenesis of stomach cancer. Aim of the study were identify Cag A and Vac A genotype of H Pylori in gastric disease. By multiplex - PCR assay, the authors have detecting CagA va VacA-(s1/s2, ml/m2) genes of H pylori in 90 stomach tissue biopsy of patients with stomach diseases (41 gastritis
  28 gastric ulcer and 21 gastric cancer). The results showed that stomach cancer patients infected H pylori containing CagAgene (76.2 percent) were significant higher rate than stomach non-cancer patients (21.4 percent and 26.8 percent) (p0.001). Rate of stomach cancer patients infected with H pylori containing VacA gene were not different from stomach non-cancer patients (p0.05). The H pylori CagA-genotype infected patients were significant increase risk of stomach cancer incomparison to patients infected with H pylori with non-CagA gen (OR 9.8
  CI [2.8-38.3]).
