This paper will present a solution using Multi-Layer Perceptron neural network (MLP) and the features vectors taken from the input currents of a three-phase transmission line to detect the position of the two-phase shortage failure and the shorting resistance of the failure. The model will use a transmission line at 220kV, 200 km long, signal frequency at 50Hz with different positions of failure and the failure shorting resistances to test the proposed solutions.
