Serovar of 33 Leptospira strains isolated from pigs raising in the South Central and Highland region of Vietnam was identified by using microscopic agglutination test (MAT). The studied result showed that 28/33 strains belonging to the serovars were Pomona, Bataviae, Pyrogenes, Bratislava, Panama, Javanicar, Hardjo and Tarassovi
Serovar of 5/33 strains was not identified. These Leptospira strains related closely to each other and belonged to virulent Leptospira species. They are able to cause the diseases in animals and human.
