Bi2O3-modified carbon nano tube paste electrode (Bi2O3-CNTPE) was manufactured and used for determining trace amounts of lead by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry method (DP-ASV). The stripping peak current (I) has a linear relationship with concentration in the range of 1,92 x 10 exponent-9 M to 2,4 x 10 exponent-7 M of Pb (II) with a deposition time of 120 s at deposition potential of -1,2 V, in 0,1 M acetate buffer (pH = 4,5). The relative standard devition (RSD) for a solution containing 1,45 x 10 exponent-8 M of Pb (II) was 2,67 percent (n = 10), the 30 detection limit of 1,03 x 10 exponent-9 M. The electrode was applied to determine Pb (II) in water sample.
