In order to reduce the damage caused by equipment s break-down, it is essential that equipment needs to be regularly checked on-site, especially for important equipment used in severe environments (high pressure, ultra-high temperature, etc). One of the typical factors affecting the duration of metallic equipment is creep deformation. Scope of this paper is to study and evaluate the level of creep deformation for superheating pipe systems in the coal-fueled power plants so that remedies is proposed to improve performance effectiveness of the equipment.
