Through the verse "Thi tich" of nun Dieu Nhan (1042-1113), who was the first Zen nun of the 17th generation of Vinitaruci, the article referred to the life and death perception - a matter of utmost significance of humans has been discussed by Buddhism and other religions, as well as the East and the West thinkers. Basing on it, the article asserted that nun Dieu Nhan's verve, which was simple but profound, were enough to express the transcendental conception of life and death in Buddhist Zen: the song about the human value of the Vietnamese people at all times.
