The legal instruments on religion, especially "The Ordinances on Religion and Belief" promulgated and applied in reality of Vietnam in recent years which created the legal framework for assuring the right of religious freedom and the right of non-religion. It helped to manage effectively the religious affairs. However, the application of religious law in reality of Vietnam at present showcd the inadequacy that needs to regulate. This article analyzed the achicvements and limitations or the application or religious law in reality or Vietnam at present in order to realize the work to complete the law on religion in Vietnam as a demand and a target in the context of establishing a State of law.
