Tóm tắt

Religion and culture have a dialectical relation. When mentioning religion, the authors could not help indicating its cultural role. The Catholicism was propagated in Vietnam in the middle of the 17th century. Through the vicissitudes of history, the Catholicism is initially integrated into Vietnamese cultural life and gradually confirms its value. This article indicated the main values of the Vietnamese Catholics' marriage and family.
