Bao Ninh Sung Phuc Pagoda located in the Go Chua area of Tac village, Yen Nguyen commune. Chiem Hoa district, Tuyen Quang province was built in 1107, the year title Long Phi, Nguyen Hoa of Ly Nhan Tong period. It is badly collapsed, but the Ly-period stele still has remained. In 2012, the Viet Nam Institute of Archaeology and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang province conducted the first excavation at Bao Ninh Sung Phuc pagoda. The excavation results are the findings of the remained foundations from the Ly- Tran, Early Le, late Le-Nguyen period, the pillar bases from the Ly-Tran time with a large number of architectural materials, cultic objects and household utensils from many periods. Bao Ninh Sung Phuc pagoda has the earliest date currently known in the Northern Viet Nam. It has great values, serving as historical evidence of the resistance war against Song invasion, providing data of policies of the Vietnamese Imperial dynasties with the leaders of the minorities and some other historical matters. The absolute dates of these archaeological data have great values in comparison with other sites.
