One of the important issues for the design of foundational building that gains the economy and technique is geological data. In this paper, the author presents the geological characteristics and bases on the similarity of the soil structures to divide into 3 types of soil structures of the Thai Nguyen city area. The author also uses ArcGIS 10.1 software and Kriging interpolation method to find out rules of the soil structures and convert discrete geological data to continuous data. At every construction site in the area, everybody is able to find geological data from stratigraphy columns and physical properties of the soil to get an overview of project planning.
