The article analyzed the art of talk singing (hat noi) - a very popular form in Ca tru when declaiming poems. Hat noi referred to "singing while speaking"
therefore, it was necessary for the song to have specific rhythms and outline. A proper structure of Hat noi included 11 sentences inserted with 2 or 4 verses having 5 or 7 words in style of Duong poetry. The first and last sentences were called Muou with verses having 4 or 6-8 words in six-eight style of Folk poetry. The hybridization of different audio organizations between Vietnamese folk and Chinese scholar have produced verses with 8 or 9 free words
it then became a popular verse of the New Poetry movement in Vietnam. For the above reasons, Hat noi is both folksy and scholarly, both normative and free in the process of modernization of Vietnamese poetry.
