The research on 47 patients with bleeding gastroduodenal ulcer at Department of Internal Medicine, Vinh Tuong District Hospital (Vinh Phuc) from Jannuary 2009 to December 2013 shows that: Male predominant over female
the average age is 47.3 + or - 12.6. Clinical signs: Melaene and/or hematemesis were the typical signs of gastrointestinal bleeding. The images of bleeding at ulcer were classified according to the Forrest Standard: Forrest IIA held the highest rate (46.8 percent). Result of treatment after five days treated with Esomeprazole (intravenously): good results was found in 85.1 percent, 14.9 percent achieved the average results, Re-examination (after using therapy EAC) revealed that: the ratio of scar is 82.9 percent and the healing appeared in 17.1 percent.
