Miscarriage, stillbirth and birth defects are common abnormal reproductive. For preventing abnormal adverse reproductive outcomes (AROs), updated the iformation about AROs are very important. In Vietnam, there isn't organization aimed to update AROs in commune. That's why the authors performed this study. The study aimed to collect AROs of women who are at 15-49 years old at Phu Cat - Binh Dinh in 2 years from the beginning of 2012 to the end of 2013 base on the primary health system. Results showed that the prevalences of AROs (miscarriage, stillbirth and birth defects) are 5.58 percent, 0.91 percent and 1.32 percent of pregnancies respectively. AROs collected in 2013 are higher than that in 2012 with p0.05. 63.04 percent stillbirths is unexplained
21.74 percent stillbirths are caused by fitus defects. 83.66 percent is one time ARO
12.93 percent is 2 times
2.44 percent is 3 times. 56.72 percent of recorded children with birth defects were counseled to intervene, in which 26.87 percent of the children was intervened. Results show that the ability to record AROs in community - based the primary health system is huge, that is a base for intervention counseling to reduce the consequences of AROs.
