Objective: to identify some factors associated with knowledge, practice against hand-foot-mouth disease amohg women who have children under 5 years of age in Gia Xuyen commune, Gia Loc district, Hai Duong province in 2013. Methods: a crosssectional and analytic study carried out among 404 women randomly selected among all women with children under 5 years in Gia Xuyen commune. Results: The proportion of good knowledge and practice was 70 percent and 36,6 percent consecutively. Profession and education level of women were associated with knowledge and practice against disease. Women who are cadre in government organizations have better knowledge and practice when comparing to women working in other professions (OR=5.38 and OR=2,14 consecutively
