Black garlic contains high levels of organosulphur compounds, such as water-soluble S-allylcysteine (SAC) which is believed has potential anticancer effect. In this study, the authors investigated anti liver cancer effect of SAC and black garlic extract on Hep-3B cell line. The data indicated that the Hep-3B cancer cells were inhibited at 100mM of SAC and O,25mM, O,5mM, 1mM of black garlic extract.
