Described research combined with longitudinal quality research was conducted from February 2009 to May 2010. Sample size for baseline survey, 6 months postline and 12 months postline were 1.068, 837 and 820 subjects, respectively. This study aimed to access the relationship between the factors of Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) with alcohol drinking and unsafe sex that can be the risk of HIV/AIDS infection among unmarried young men from 18 to 24 years old at Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam. Analysis showed that there was a significant relation between intrinsic rewards and extrinsic rewards
between vulnerability, response efficacy and self-efficacy with sexual subdual. Subjects who have ever had sexual intercourse without using a condom had low awareness of severity of the risk of HIV/AIDS infection (p=0.05), felt less self efficacy in finding and using condoms (p0.001), felt more about social response cost related to using condoms (p
