Objective: To evaluate the results of endoscopic thoracic surgery in thoracic trauma. Subjects and Methods: In cross-sectional descriptive study included 50 patients after chest trauma (30 cases) and chest injuries (20 cases) is used to treat endoscopic. 45 male and 5 female, aged 18-67 average 47.3 + or - 5,2 years, between 2008 and 2012 at the Department surgery of Bach Mai Hospital. Results: All the lesions were processed endoscopic breast no circumstances should switch to open surgery, drainage of the pleural cavity placed 28 patients. Postoperative hospital length of stay 2.3 + or - 1.7 days . No deaths during and after surgery. There are also 4 TH emphysema and pleural blood after surgery. No postoperative sequelae. 1th wound infection and no postoperative empyema. The rate of complications after surgery 5,76 percent. According to the classification criteria: good type: 48/50 accounted for 96 percent. Medium: 2/50 is 4 percent. No result: 0/50. Conclusions: Endoscopic in emergency chest is safe and effective, shorter hospital stay postoperative simple, no postoperative sequelae.
