Objectives: In this study, assessment results surgery for the treatment of incarcerated inguinal hernia. Methods: From January 2009 to December 2013, a total of 56 patients with a diagnosis of incarcerated inguinal hernia and treatment by surgery in Nghe An General Hospital. Results: The mean age was 59.1 + or - 15.7 (age ranging from 18 to 95 years), There were 100 percent males. Mean operating time was 60.1 + or - 10.7 (45 -125) minutes. The mean hospital stay was 4.5 + or - 1.6 (3 -10) days. There was no operation-related morbidity or mortality. Conclusion: Surgery for the treatment of incarcerated inguinal hernia is feasible, safe and effective.
