Background: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a rare cancer. in the Western hemisphere (1 case per 100,000 individuals)
conversely there are some areas. such as Southern China, Southeast Asia (Vietnam), the Mediterranean basin and Alaska. (it reaches 80 per 100,000 individuals). The purpose is to comparison the diagnostique anatomopathological by the stains hematoxylin (HE) and the technique immunohistochemistry. Materials and method: A prospective study from a series 53 cervical lymphadenopathy. of 30 patients of NPC, Which is diagnosted the anatomopathology by the stains HE (hematocylin) and the technique immunohistochemistry (IHC) to rechers metastasis. Results and discusion: There are 41/53 cervical lymphadenopathy. ayant metastesis (positive) (74.7 percent) by stains HE, and by the IHC as the same. There are 12/53 cervical lymphadenopathy. is negative (no metastesis) by stains HE, but which is metastesis (positive) by the IHe. The detection of the metastesis of the cervical lymphadenopathy is 96,27 percent by the IHC, and 74,7 percent by the HE. Conclusion: The comparison, the IHC is exactly of the detection of the metastesis of the cervical lymphadenopathy.
