Today, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications has been applied popular in the management and handling of economic, social and environmental issues, as GIS/GPS in monitoring and solid waste management based on the source of emissions, hydrology, topography, roads, ... to planning transportation routes, where the focus, where waste disposal... The study and application of GIS/GPS to support the work of the monitoring system for collection and transfer solid waste activities in Thai Nguyen city to create favorable conditions for the effective management of operational evaluation of the current system. Through analyzing the difficulties and advantages of the present system as the basis for in-depth research in the future.
