Objective: to investigate the situation of skin diseases in the children at the dermatological clinic of Hue Central Hospital from May 1st .2010 to April 31th.2011 and compare with the diagnosis of the primary health care. Materials and method: the cross-sectional study (prospective) basing on data of 234 pediatric patients under 6 years who went to the dermatological clinic from May. 1st .2010 to April. 31th.2011. Results: The rate of sex of dermatological patients: male and female are 53 percent and 47 percent. The rate of age of dermatological patients: 1 month 0 percent, 1-12 months 13 percent, 12-36 months 62 percent, 48 - 72 months 25 percent. The rate of patients who are skin diseases from the primary health care: 42 percent. The time diseases when they come to check: 1 week 53 percent, 1-2 weeks 21 percent, 2 weeks 26 percent. The rate of the common skin diseases: atopic dermatitis 20 percent, contact dermatitis 16,7 percent, impetigo 15,8 percent, scabies 12,2 percent, varicella 8,2 percent, wart 6 percent, herpes simples 5,6 percent, molluscom contagiosum 4,7 percent and fugal 4,3 percent. The rate of correct diagnosis - uncorrect diagnosis: correct 35 percent, un correct 65 percent.
