Nanosilver is a new material, which shows high capabilities in decontamination of microorganism and sterilization. However, effect of nanosilver on plant cell tissue culture has not been researched yet. In this study, nanosilver solution was added into culture media with concentration range from 0 - 20 ml/I for investigation the effect of nanosilver on growth of Chrysanthemum sp., Fragaria sp. and Gerbera sp.cultured in vitro. Different parameters such as plant height, number of leaves and leaves' length, number of roots and roots' length, fresh weight, dry weight and SPAD were determined. Plants stayed healthy in culture better than control treatment. Supplementingwith 10 ml/l nanosilver into culture medium showed the highest growth of Chrysanthemumand Fragaria plantlets while the best growth of Gerberaplantlets was observed in the treatment, which added 5 ml/I nanosilver. However, nanosilver had the negative impact on the growth and development of plants in vitro when increasing concentration in culture medium. Chrysanthemumplantlets of control treatment and 10 ml/l nanosilver treatment were transferred to greenhouse. The Chrysanthemumplantlets derived from 10 ml/I nanosilver treatment also showed the better growth after I and 2 months in ex vitro conditions.
