This paper investigates the relationship between surface water quality and economic growth in Binh Duong province based on the environmental Kuznets curve hypothesis (EKC), using the surface water monitored data over 2000-2011. Research data sources from Binh Duong Environmental Monitoring Center from 2000 to 2011 on environmental monitoring data of seven main streams and rivers. Economic factor used is gross domestic product per capita by comparative price. There are four of economy-environme:r
tt relationships in the studied period in Binh Duong: NH3-N, COD, Colifonn and Nemerow pollution Indices. Regression method of "Fit Line Plot" procedure has been used to fit the data. Linear, quadratic and cubic form were tested and logarithm Neper form has been shown highest relation coefficient. The results also show that surface water indicator supports EKC good in case of Binh Duong and this province has experienced the polluted peak and surface water quality gradually improved.
