Self-study is a process of learning efforts that mobilizes intellectual capacity to obtain scientific knowledge, turning it into personal knowledge. Self-study is an important component of cognitive process, a direct deciding factor affecting the learning outcomes of students. However, the implementation of self-study among students is currently limited, negatively affecting the quality of the teaching process in general. Therefore, on the basis of evaluating the position and the role of self-study process, finding out the limitations and weaknesses of the process, this article gives some solutions to help students improve their own self-study.
