Using robots in the industrial production lines will bring about economic and social efficiency. The process of designing and building an automated manufacturing system requires scientists to carefully research, and fmd out the optimal solutions for the production lines. Before installing and operating an automation system, the process needs to be simulated for verification. Simulations are important because they can control the errors of the system although they are not tested on real models, thus reducing costs. SL-MSM system is used for robot design, simulation and verification of industrial production lines prior to actual application. This paper presents results and applications of SL-MSM in the design and simulation of robots in the industrial production lines.
