Today, phenol derivati'es are widely used in various fields such as polymer materials, engineering materials, and constructions materials because of their... The toxicity of phenol derivatives leads to the need of a method for determining the concentration of these compounds in the environment and materials. This study presents a new chromatography extraction method to quantitatively determined phenol derivatives in solution and aqueous solution. The method is based on the combination of liquid-liquid extraction technique and other techniques like low-temperature thinlayer chromatography and digital colorimetric. The advantage of this method is that it uses common and less toxic
hemicals but still provides a faster, more accurate analysis with lower cost in comparison with previous methods.
