Gastronomic culture, which is considered an essential factor in tourism, has been exploited and used for attracting tourists in recent years. Gastronomic activities not only meet tourists' demands of eating, creating employment, improving locals' income and promoting the locality's economic development, but also play an important role in attracting more tourists to the destination via advertising the region's cultural characteristics. The article presents the exploitation of gastronomic potential for tourism development in Tam Hai island commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.
