Sea water intrusion in a coastal plain in general and in the northern region in particular has greatly affected to water demand for agriculture and for daily life of the people. Studying of the factors that impact to sea water intrusion has great significance to the management, monitoring and offering solutions to limit and overcome. Beside the factors such as the weather and the terrain, elements of upstream reservoir operation and sea level rise have great influence on the process of sea water intrusion and the water intake works in tidal area. This article presents the simulation results of the sea water intrusion happening under the impact of the reservoir's operation mode at upstream and sea water level rising under the climate change scenarios to 2100 and some factors that affecting to salty for the northern coastal areas.
