Noble metal single atoms (SAs) on semiconductors are increasingly explored as co-catalysts to enhance the efficiency of photocatalytic hydrogen production. In this study, we introduce a "spontaneous deposition" approach to anchor Pd SAs onto graphitic carbon nitride (g-C
