 In an integrated economy, businesses that want to survive and develop need to effectively implement their development and competition strategies. Attached to this process is to build a system of measuring production - business efficiency with high reliability to quickly make appropriate management decisions in an increasingly complex competition environment. The paper presents the basic contents of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC)
  identify barriers when applying BSC, thereby suggesting some solution implications to effectively apply BSC to small and medium-sized enterprises (Small and Medium-sized Enteprises - SME) in Vietnam.
