Social conflict is a long-standing problem in the history of human society. In Vietnam, social conflicts are always in line with the country's development history. However, research on social conflict in general and conflict of interest in particular, especially the interest in research on conflict of interests in peri-urban communities is still lacking. The reality shows that conflicts of interest in the peri-urban community in our country are on the rise and pose many questions to answer. The paper identifies the types of conflicts of interest and those involved in conflict of interests of peri-urban communities in the context of urbanization and industrialization.
