Translabyrinthine approach for the removal of acoustic neuromas is conducted through the cooperation of Neurotology and Neurosurgery. This is the shortest approach, allowing thorough tumor removal and reducing neurological damages. The application of this technique brings a new prospect in surgical treatment for acoutic neuromas and other tumors of internal auditory canal and cerebellopontine angle in Vietnam.
