Tóm tắt

The purpose of the study was to compare the difference on indicators related to nutrition status of hospitalized children by anthropometrical method and by SGA tool. A cross-sectional study was conducted with involvement of 330 hospitalized children from 6-60 month of age in Pediatric Department of Hai Duong province hospital from May to November, 2009. The results show that: Assessment of nutrition status of hospitalized children by SGA tool not only identified the risk of malnutrition of hospitalized children but also reveal out the risk of malnutrition of hospitalized children with normal anthropometric range.
