The use of IM product (Indigenous Microorganism) was performed in order to treatment of solid and liquid wastes to reduce environmental pollution originated from pig farms from June to December of 2014. Experiments were randomly assigned to 3 repetitions according to 3 levels of 1M product (cr1 with 0.1 percent
CT2 with 0.2 percent
and CD with 0.3 percent) and the control experiment (CT0) using EM (Effective Microorganism) at 0.2 percent. The studies show that the potential production, multiplication of IM product are easily in the farm conditions. The concentration of aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms existing in IM product was high (10 exponent 8 CFU/ml). The IM product has high active capacity for treatment of cellulose and starch (10 exponent 7 CFU/ml). Use of this 1M product for treatment of solid and liquid wastes originated pig farms brings beneficial results. The indicators of COD, BODs were reduced after 5 days of treatment with statistical significance (P0.05). The BODs reduced from 166.7 mg/l with CTI to 181.7 mg/l with CT1 in comparison with 433.3 mg/l with liquid waste before treatment. The COD reduced from 618 mg/l with CT2 to 711 mgll with CT1 in comparison with 1,930 mg/l with the liquid waste before treatment. The indicator of BODs reaches discharge permit under the Vietnamese standards of 678-2006 but over permission in comparison with QCVN 40: 2011 for industrial wastewater. The dangerous microorganisms such as Coliform and E. coli reduce with both liquid and solid wastes. However, there should be further studies to conduct the concentration, the activity of IM products according to the captivity and handling various solid and liquid wastes according to the seasons, different types of farms.
