Lao Cai copper metallurgy plant has been designed and installed by the Chinese contractors with the modern Distributed Control System (DCS). However, the transfer process of the plant has not been completed, causing many difficulties in its operation. Institute of Mining Science and Technology (VIMSAT) has coordinated with Lao Cai Copper Metallurgy Company in investigating and evaluating to provide the solutions for overcoming and improving the Distributed Control System (DCS) at the plant.
