Since 2010, Institute of Mining Science and Technology has investigated and studied the geological conditions for applying the mining fIowsheet to the sublevel gateways using the support KDT-2 associating with the top coal caving by blasting method in long boreholes with the safe non-electrical delay detonators. In this paper, the authors represent the design and manufacture works of the support KDT-2 for mining the thick and inclined coal seams.
