The report presents the method of the synthesis of semiconductor Nanocrystals (quantum-dots) of structural core/shell CdSe/ZnS with the different shell thickness. These quantum dots CdSe/ZnS were dispersed in toluene solution and combined with the polymer poly-methyl methacrylate (PMMA). The author investigated the influence of the shell thickness and of the polymer on the fluorescence spectrum of quantum dots CdSe/ZnS. The emission shift of the wavelength due to shell thickness and dispersed environment have been discussed.
