The Diavoliada is the first one in a cluster of three outstanding novels: The Diavoliada, The Fatal Eggs and The Heart of a Dog that were written by the Russian writer and playwright Mikhail Bulgacov (1891-1940) in the first half of 1920s. The Diavoliada signalled and confirmed the formation. development and the gradual rise, reaching a ripe peak of multiple artistic talent of Bulgacov: "satirical talent, fantastic talent and realistic talent" (K. Simonov. 1915 - 1979). The writing covered the realistic and fantastic means that were used by Bulgacov in this novel. By this writing, the author would like to have a little voice in confirmation of aesthetic value of the first one in the cluster of three of the above-mentioned outstanding novels. There is a hope that, by this writing, it will clear up the originality of combination of the realistic and fantastic elements in the creative thoughts of Bulgacov.
