Cotton is a plan that has strict requirements of ecological conditions, and is less grown in Vietnam. In order to meet the growing demand for materials for the textile industry, it is necessary to expand the cotton growing area. This article analyzes and evaluates the advantages and disadvantages in natural and socio-economic conditions for growing cotton in Tay Nguyen and South Central Coast, two of the main cotton growing regions in Vietnam at the present time and in the foreseeable future.
