So far, 10 hydraulic moving supports GK/1600/1.6/2.4/HTD have been made in Vietnam under the coordination of Institute of Mining Science and Technology (VIMSAT), Vinacomin Machinery Company and Energy and Mining Mechanics Institute. The paper represented the initial results from the pilot application of the domestic hydraulic moving supports to the longwall at the level of +150 to +180 of the coal seam 5 T.IC + T.I at Nam Mau Coal Company and from these results, the paper also provided some conclusions and proposals.
