Steel industry consumpts a great amount of energy, chiefly in electrical energy and coal. In 2010, the total energy demand of Vietnamese Steel Industry reaches over 1.2 milion TOE. In the next period, the Steel Industry will develop with rapid rate. So it is necessary to forecast the total energy demand for the development of this important industry.
