Investigating the pollution of the canals with municipal waste is carried out every week at the low and high tides in the same day from January to March, 2010 on the Cai Khe canal at Can Tho city. The results shown rotifer takes from 51 to 100 percent of the species composition and 11-100 percent of density of plankton, particularly density of Filina longiseta usually takes 30-93.5 percent of the samples at the polluted sites.
