 The article focuses on an approach of generalization to the satirical language - an artful style in the category of Ho Xuan Huong's poems written under Duong's poetic rules. Six characteristics of the satirical art are presented here: (1) satirical metaphor
  (2) satirical antonymous expressions
  (3) "Dirty" satire
  (4) originality in word - playing
  (5) cleverness in distorting language
  (6) wit in the use of alliterations. In addition, the article also deals with some solutions to teach and study this category of Ho Xuan Huong's poems.
