System passenger transport by electric train is the inevitable development trend in major cities around the world. In Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is implementing the construction of this system with automatic control advanced technology. This paper presents an overview of the process of formation and development in Vietnam, as well as the development trend of the train control system in general.
