In during setting time of blended portland cement, a mainly effect of the activity mineral admixture is combination with Ca(OH)2 formed hydrat products. Beside that, an actively mineral admixture also effects to the hydration process of portland cement minerals. This paper presents the effect of an activity mineral admixture on the hydration of mainly minerals in portland cement. This also explains on the role of an actively mineral admixture to improving a setting time and cnaracteristics of hardened mortar and concrete used blended-portland cement.
