This paper is to present the method for determination of wind loads including its dynamic amplification effects on high-rise buildings and also provide relevant comments and suggestions on the practical application for design of highrise buildings, particularly those with complicated floor plans. It is expected that the paper will give relevant understanding of wind effects and help provide engineers with proper application of the procedure for design of buildings against wind loads under different conditions.
