The author has highlighted the role of foreign direct investment in technology transfer in Vietnam. Technology transfer through the projects of foreign direct investment is one of important channel to enhance the technological capacity of Vietnam. The paper also proposed some solutions to enhance the role of foreign direct investment in technology transfer such as policies, human resources and infrastructure.
