Cuu Long River Delta is a vast and fertile region of Mekong river, with natural area of nearly 40,000 km2. This area is particularly important position, was identified as one of seven major economic regions of Vietnam. From that the article pointed out the need for cooperation and linkages in the area and other regions, domestic and international organizations to promote social -economic development, in which link to develop science and technology have an important role.
