 Sediment samples were taken at the depth at 40 meters from the soil surface
  top soil samples were also taken at two depth 0-20cm and 28-50cm
  and the groundwater samples were collected at the households with the well depth ranging of 20-60m. Research results showed that the high arsenic concentration was in range of 69.01 to 86.75 pphfounding in the gray fine sand materials with high concentrations of 80 and Cl in the sediment layers. While the low arsenic concentration ranged from 8.54 to 89.9 mg/kg in the top soil. Arsenic concentrations from groundwater were in range of 10-700 pph, and high concentrations were founded at the upstream at Hau river. The authors recommended that to study the arsenic origin from groundwater and to minimine arsenic pollutions to contribute to improving people's health.
